It runs in the family
My 2-year hold on the title “cutest kid in the world” has officially come to an end. I’m now locked in a 1st-place tie with my baby sister, as evidenced by the picture below.

Speaking of Abby, she likes carrots.

Last night was the SVCC Mother’s Day Out program, in which I stole the show. And by “stole the show”, I mean “stood still and stared at the audience”. It was awesome!
Here are a couple of videos my daddy made of the show. The first is my class, the second is my friend Ainsley’s, and the third is my cousin Zachary’s (co-starring my friend Tyler). The files are big, so the best way for you to view them would be to right-click the link and choose “Save As” to copy them to your computer. Enjoy!

Check out my sister’s pretty smile. Looks like beauty runs in the family!

Daddy has posted a narrative of Abby’s arrival over at his blog. Check it out at www.yankeestom.com.
Hi everyone! I’ve been on a blogging hiatus for the past few months; I’ve been too busy learning my alphabet, shapes, colors, and quantum physics. But I’m taking a break from all that this week to introduce my new #1 fan, Abby Lauren.

Isn’t she beautiful? Here I am with Daddy showing him her nose, hair, chin, and other features:

Later on, the nurse came by to give Abby a “hearing test”. But I don’t believe that for a second; I think she was just rocking out listening to some Metallica:

We have lots more pictures of Abby. Daddy uploaded them all to Snapfish; you can access them with this link. I think you have to create an account (for free) to log in and see them, but it is worth it.
One note about Mommy in the pictures: if you haven’t already heard, she got Bell’s Palsy a few weeks ago, and half of her face does not work right. It has gotten a lot better already than when it first happened, but as you can tell from the pictures it is still there a little bit. The doctor said that based on the progress so far, he expects a full recovery soon. I think she’s beautiful either way; don’t you?
Birds are cool. Here I am with my airborne peeps at the beach last month.
This year I went trick-or-treating as Pebbles Flintstone. Here I am with my “crew”:

This is me taking inventory of my loot:

And here I am kicking back with Benjamin with a belly full of cheetos and suckers:
I’ve decided to start talking. I currently have about 15 or 16 words that I choose to say when the mood strikes me. Here are two of my favorites that daddy has recorded: apple and all done. I love apples, so I say apple when I see one (or any other red fruit or vegetable). When I’m done eating and wish to get down from my high chair, I say “all done.” I am extremely smart, which when added to my intense beauty creates a deadly combination.
Daddy is going to try to record the rest of my words and will post them here hopefully this weekend.
That means “Good morning” in Poland! I am now a world traveler–here I am in my new home-away-from-home:

Daddy took me to see if there were any good movies showing. All we found was this–I’ve heard it’s not as good as the original Stuart Malutki:

Since there weren’t any good movies, we just went back to the hotel, where I helped Mommy and Daddy unpack the important stuff:

Then, I decided to take a nap. I don’t know why people sleep at such crazy hours around here, but I have decided to just go to bed for the night at the normal time of 9:30 am:
